Paul Pogba Confirms United Exit 6 Years On

France international, Paul Pogba, has confirmed he will be leaving the club.

The midfielder joined the club from Juventus on 8 August 2016. Manchester United paid a record fee of fee at €105 million (£89.3 million) plus bonuses of €5 million, surpassing the former record holder Gareth Bale.

Paul’s return to his former club has not been that fruitful. The 29-year-old will leave Old Trafford for a second time upon the expiry of his contract.

After six years of service, the Paul Pogba bids farewell to his boyhood club. The club posted a lengthy tribute to the Frenchman, who first joined the Academy aged 16 from Le Havre.

A low-key end to a United career that had brought so many individual high moments, so many beautiful goals, assists and pieces of skill.

But for a boy that joined the Academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances and lift the Youth Cup, along with two major pieces of silverware – not to mention the World Cup at international level – is something that should be applauded and celebrated.
