Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a contractor.
In the morning, it was reported that the dancehall musician had ordered some Nima youths to beat up a constructor who had blocked a road in the East Legon area from public use for construction.
According to reports, the road’s contractors denied the ‘My Level’ hitmaker access when he attempted to use the road. When things became heated, the star ordered some Nima boys to beat up one of the contractors.
According to new information, the contractor reported the incident to the East Legon Police Command, and he was given a medical form to take to the hospital and seek medical attention.
According to the medical reports, the contractor, 24-year-old Mr Kennedy Acquah, suffered some pains on his right jaw, right part of his neck, and some sharp pains on the right side of his chest but was clinically confirmed to have a clear chest following a medical examination.
The medical examiner gave him some analgesics and suggested a chest X-ray if the symptoms persisted after two days.
It is also claimed that an arrest warrant has been issued for the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker in connection with the assault on the contractor yesterday.
